My stash from Anime North 2012.

Grabbed a buttload of posters this time round for my room (I must have spend over $70 on those. YEESH.). Needed some Ponies, Sherlock and the odd Adventure Time things on my wall. The Sebastian print was the last one I bought from one of the tables!
Oh, and they had a few Danny Phantom things, so I picked up a cute print.
Also grabbed a Season 3 Digivice from the Nominoichi on Friday night for $30 (thanks again to the member on Cosplay.com who sold it to me)! Gonna be cosplaying Takato in the near future.~
Also bought both FLCL manga (not pictured) at the Nominoichi for $5.
Haggled a dealer into selling me Chrono Crusade (the ADV set) for $23.
Munny figure for $10! I’ve seen these little guys before, but I never got around to buying one. Thought I’d pick one up to do something artsy. The table was also selling the big ones for $20!
PINS! I’m a sucker when it comes to buying pins at conventions. Picked up a bunch of Sherlock pins from a few dealers, along with Legend of Korra, and some rather obscure ones (CYBERSIX! And MONSTER RANCHER!) Also bought the white Reboot icon for my upcoming Dot cosplay for later this Fall.
AND GOOD OMENS. HOLY SHIT. GOOD OMENS PINS. They had stickers too, but I went with pins. WHAT A FUCKING AMAZING BOOK.
Bolin keychain (not pictured). Needed more Legend of Korra stuff.
Of course, I couldn’t leave without buying something Doctor Who, so I picked up The Journal of Impossible Things and the Ace issue of Doctor Who Magazine for the car ride home. (I missed out on buying the Keep Calm and Don’t Blink t-shirt and a TARDIS mug, but I was keeping an eye on my spending.)

I think I spent a little over $200 on stuff, which was a bit more than I was expecting it to be. @A@

They’re pouring latex on him to make a false chest. So that they can place the arc reactor prop in him and make it legitimately look like it’s embedded in is flesh and with tears and scar tissue. The latex is colored so they can see where they are applying and how thick the layers are. It will then be airbrushed to his skintone and details like nipples scar tissue discoloration will be added.

Here’s that picture:

Then the reactor prop is added to the dimple. Basically the latex becomes fake skin and they tear part of the center open to embed it.

Now you can see how realistic it looks.
